an assignment for my illustration class.
we had to bake a bread, then illustrate our experience/thoughts/whatever about the process and bread in general. whenEVER i think about baking i always think about that country kitchen feel...farms..chickens. and the little red hen has always come to mind.
the original pencil image was TINY so i scanned it, blew it up, and gave it a little color in photoshop.

Lovely, this is one of my most favourite stories, maybe because I know how the darn hen feels all too well :-)
